Through the month of September myself and few others of my friends and family have been taking on the Whole 30. If you haven't heard of the Whole 30 I will link the website below. I won't waste your time with reading all the details about the Whole 30 since most of you who have clicked this link already know about the Whole 30 and are looking for a delicious muffin recipes that is compliant with his diet. I myself usually just scroll past all the talking and jump to the recipe. So I will jump right to it. Here's the recipe:
3/4 cup Almond flour
2 Large bananas
1/2 cup walnuts, chopped
Tips about this recipe:
1- This recipe is not designed for the muffins to rise at all.
2- I generally double the recipe to make a dozen muffins.
3- A single recipe will make about 6 muffins if you fill the each cup 1/2-3/4 full.
If you are truly a Whole 30-er, you may mention that it is not in spirit of Whole 30 to recreate baked goods. However, this is where I say, I needed something different to eat with my eggs. Also, if after you reintroduce everything after the 30 days, and decide to continue on with healthy eating, this is a great recipe for you! There is so flour or dairy, or sugar. So if you don't want to make them while you are on the Whole 30 in fear that you might binge, then add this recipe to your pinterest page and save it for later, because it is healthy and delicious!
